Full clearance

If you want to pay off your entire student debt, you need to know exactly how much you currently owe. If you are already making mandatory repayments or will start doing so next year, you can find this amount in Mijn DUO.

You will not get a discount if you repay your debt in 1 payment.

How to pay

  1. Log into Mijn DUO.
  2. Go to "Mijn Schulden" and choose "Meer betalen".
  3. Click "In een keer aflossen".
  4. Pay using iDEAL.

Manual bank transfer

If you have recently graduated or given up your studies, you cannot pay with iDEAL. In this situation, please contact us. Our employees can tell you the amount you need to transfer. This takes into account the calculated interest until the date of your repayment. Is part of your debt a performance grant? Then we can only calculate the exact amount after the performance grant has been converted in January.

If you are unable to log in to Mijn DUO, you can also contact us to arrange a manual bank transfer.

Overpaid instalment?

If you make your monthly payments by direct debit, it is possible that we collect another instalment by the end of the month. Please do not ask your bank to reverse this payment by direct debit. We will automatically refund the overpaid instalment.

Pay arrears separately

If you have received a final demand for payment of an overdue amount, you must pay this separately. That amount is not shown in the summary of your current debt in Mijn DUO.
